Orthodontics for children.
The American Association of Orthodontists and Dr. McMurphy recommend that your child get their first orthodontic evaluation at the first sign of orthodontic problems or by age seven. Your child's teeth have developed enough by this age, so Dr. McMurphy can spot subtle problems with emerging teeth and jaw growth before your child loses all of their baby teeth.
Your check-up at McMurphy Orthodontics may reveal that your child's bite is fine, and braces for kids aren't necessary. Or, Dr. McMurphy may identify a developing problem but recommend monitoring your child's growth and development before starting treatment at the best time when orthodontic treatment is the most effective.
